Who You Are:

As a Volunteer/Intern, You’ll Be Part of Something Special:

At the Idaho Youth Ranch, relationships are the foundation of everything we do. We’re all on the same mission-committed to growth, compassion, and joy. You’ll be part of a team where trust and transparency guide us, and every day is an opportunity to make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

As our Programs Administration Intern/Volunteer, you’ll get a front-row seat to making an impact. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Client/Visitor Greeting: Welcome guests with a smile, guide them to their destinations, and be a helpful resource.
  • Admin Support: Help with scheduling, mail, travel arrangements, managing office supplies, and keeping things organized (bonus if you’re a whiz with MS Word, Excel, and client databases)!
  • Client Support: Assist with payments, paperwork, and appointment scheduling to keep things running smoothly.
  • Special Projects: Tackle exciting tasks like organizing files, archiving old info, and getting the office in tip-top shape!

What We Offer Back:

Your time and energy mean the world to us-and the impact you make is huge! Every hour you spend volunteering helps provide crucial services to Idaho’s youth. Plus, you’ll get an awesome discount at our thrift stores and enjoy working in a caring, compassionate environment where we believe we’re better together.

Plus, Work & Study Friendly:

We know your time is valuable, so we’ve built in plenty of opportunities for you to catch up on your other work or homework during quieter moments. Whether you're studying for class or wrapping up a project, our flexible, low-key environment makes it easy to balance volunteering with your other commitments. You’ll still be making a difference while having some time to focus on your personal tasks!
